Rochester firefighters say no one was hurt when a fire broke out overnight at a partially boarded up home on Skuse Street, off Hudson Avenue.
The fire was spotted by a passing train operator.
It spread through both floors and the attic,and to the exterior of the house next door.
A squatter was found in that second house but was OK.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
