2 Charged in Fatal Dewey Ave. Drive-By Shooting

Two arrests have been made in the case of a man who was killed in a drive-by shooting from a stolen car as he was dropping a family member off at a plaza on Dewey Avenue in Rochester last May.

18-year-old Keyvin Miller and 26-year-old Kirsean Chatfield are charged with 2nd-degree murder and gun crimes in the shooting death of 21-year-old Eric Martin.

Police say Martin was not the intended target.

Miller and Chatfield then allegedly used another stolen car to open fire on a group of people on Parsells Avenue an hour later.

No one was hurt in that shooting.

Chatfield was also a suspect in a shooting into a home on Barton Street in June.

Miller was arrested in August after allegedly opening fire at a Roycroft Drive house.

Both men are being held without bail, and are due back in court next month.
