Rochester Man Sentenced for Role in Fentanyl Trafficking Ring

A Rochester man will serve over 13 years in prison on federal fentanyl trafficking charges.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Tyrik Edwards was part of a fentanyl ring that dealt out of several homes throughout the city, as well as in Augusta, Maine.

Raids at several of those city homes turned up nearly 170 grams of fentanyl, over a half-kilo of cocaine, several illegal guns, and over $20,000 in cash.

Co-defendant Ray Mack, Jr is serving over 11 years in prison, while Walter Bennett is awaiting sentencing.
