The State DMV Proposes New Regulations Aimed at Dangerous Drivers

The State Department of Motor Vehicles is proposing some new regulations aimed at getting dangerous drivers off the roads.

The agency is calling for the number of points associated with reckless driving activities to be increased.

The DMV also wants to lower the threshold at which dangerous drivers are disqualified from the right to hold a license.

And, the DMV wants to decrease the bar for permanent license forfeiture for people who keep are repeatedly convicted of driving under the influence.
