State Makes Rapid COVID-19 Tests and Masks Available as School Year Begins

The state is making rapid COVID-19 tests and masks available as students start heading back to school.

Governor Hochul says several districts have made the request now that a new variant is spreading.

The governor is also advising schools to follow CDC guidance and work with their local health departments to help protect students and staff.

Hochul says at-home tests kits are available at pharmacies across the state, and state and county offices can request N-95 masks and test kits.
