UPDATE: The victim of last night's fatal shooting on Tremont St. has been identified as 42-year-old Kenyada Peterkin.
Rochester police are probing the city's 2nd homicide in less than 10 hours.
They say a man was shot to death on Tremont Street, between Jefferson Avenue and Reynolds Street, at around 8:30 this evening.
There no information yet on the victim, and no word on any arrests.
Earlier today, a man in his late 40s was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in the Beechwood neighborhood.
There have now been 39 homicides in Rochester so far this year.
