A Rochester man will serve 23 years to life in prison for a deadly daylight shooting in April of last year on Rochester's north side.
Twenty-three-year-old Trevor Smith III was convicted last month of 2nd-degree murder and weapons charges.
Prosecutors say Smith fatally shot 21-year old Jeremy Hamilton Jr. on Avenue A over a drug beef.
Smith then fled to Texas, where he was arrested last June.
