The man struck and killed by a tractor trailer on the Thruway earlier this month has been identified.
Troopers say 46-year-old Timothy Oherron of Victor got out of his car on the shoulder of I-90 eastbound between the Manchester and Canandaigua exits on August 18th.
He then jumped into the right lane, where the truck hit him.
Oherron was dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not able to move over to the left lane because of traffic.
He has not been charged, and troopers say they don't believe he was impaired.
