21-Year-Old Rochester Man Wounded in Shooting on the City's West Side

Rochester police are investigating a west side shooting that wounded a 21-year-old city man.

It happened around 10 last night on Kirkland Road.

Officers responding to a ShotSpotter activation found evidence of a shooting, and learned minutes later that the victim had arrived at Strong hospital.

He is expected to survive and no one has been arrested.
