Bicyclist Dies of Injuries in Yates County Bicycle Crash

A bicyclist hit during a cycling event in Yates County last month has died from his injuries.

Deputies say 81-year-old David Bialosky of Pittsburgh was struck back on July 25th in the Town of Milo.

He was part of a 7-day bike tour through the Finger Lakes region.

Bialosky was airlifted to Strong Hospital, and had recently been transferred into hospice care.

The driver who hit him was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
