Construction only recently began on the new Buffalo Bills stadium and there already are reports of cost overruns.
The Associated Press reports the projected cost is approaching $1.7 billion. The AP got the information from four people who provided the information on the condition of anonymity.
The price tag was estimated last year to be $1.4 billion. The Bills are required by contract to cover costs over that amount.
Sources told The Athletic last week the price tag could eventually reach $1.9 billion.
