The University of Rochester Medical Center says the emergency department at Strong Hospital is very crowded today.
The URMC says in a tweet that extra doctors and nurses are on hand, but wait times for people with non-critical needs are much longer than usual.
URMC is not saying whether the crowding is the result of the nurses strike at Rochester General Hospital, which has replacement nurses filling out the nursing shifts.
