UPDATE: Pickup Involved in Fatal Irondequoit Motorcycle Crash Located

UPDATE 8/1: Irondequoit police say they've recovered the pickup involved in a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday evening on Empire Boulevard.

There's no word yet on whether police have found the pickup driver, nor whether the driver will face charges.

UPDATE: Irondequoit police say 35-year-old Achaz Walker of Rochester was killed in a motorcycle crash on Empire Boulevard, just west of the 590 ramps.

They're looking for a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup involved, and have provided a photo.

Irondequoit police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash on Empire Boulevard, just west of the 590 ramps.

It happened around dinnertime last night when witnesses said the westbound motorcyclist was speeding and trying to pass a pickup truck on the right.

The witnesses say the motorcycle hit the pickup, and then a utility pole.

The pickup didn't stop, and the man on the motorcycle died about an hour later at Strong hospital. His name has been withheld.

Police are trying to track down the pickup driver. And state police are assisting with the accident reconstruction.
