Rochester Area Crime Stoppers is holding a fundraiser for the county's K9s.
Several law enforcement agencies held a demonstration today in Henrietta, touting their dogs' tracking and agility skills.
Rochester Police Chief David Smith tells 13WHAM K9s come in handy in a number of situations.
The dogs also detect drugs, weapons, and explosives.
The money goes toward vet expenses, training equipment, obstacle course upgrades, and new puppies.
