A Rochester man has been charged in a shooting last month in the Edgerton neighborhood.
31-year-old Johnkiomi Ruiz is charged with attempted murder, assault, and a gun crime.
Police say he shot a man in his 20s June 20th on Lake Avenue.
The victim needed emergency surgery at Strong but has survived.
U.S. Marshals arrested Ruiz on Bay Street yesterday.
He's expected to be arraigned today in Rochester City Court.
