A Wayne County man is in the hospital, after he was hit by a train.
Deputies say John Hayslett of Sodus was struck near State Route 88 and Welcher Road in Arcadia last night.
Hayslett apparently was lying next to the tracks, but got up and tried to avoid being hit.
Hayslett was taken to Strong Hospital, and is expected to survive.
