Nearly 100 Homes Damaged in Ontario County Flooding

Local and state crews are still doing damage assessments from the flooding in Canandaigua.

Ontario County Administrator Chris DeBolt says roughly 100 homes were badly damaged when Sucker Brook flooded.

The water had not receded by mid-morning today.

The worst flooding was on the city's west side, and just outside the city.

DeBolt says some roads have minor damage, but all roads in the County that were closed by the flood have reopened.

Some people lost power and others had to have their gas service shut off.
