Rochester Regional Health to End Employee COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

Rochester Regional Health says it will no longer require employees to have the COVID-19 vaccine -- effective tomorrow.

State and federal health authorities both recently repealed the requirement that health care workers get the COVID shot to keep their jobs.

But RRH says it's strongly encouraging employees and all community members to consider having the vaccination. They say it's an essential tool in preventing the spread of COVID and safeguarding public health. The hospital group will maintain supplies of the vaccine at its facilities for those who want it.
