7 Wounded in 6 Rochester Shootings

Seven people have been wounded in 6 overnight shootings in Rochester.

Police say they don't know if the shootings are linked.

Shortly before 11, a 29-year-old man took a round to the leg on North Goodman Street, while a 30-year-old man was hit in the torso near Cottage Street and Jefferson Avenue.

About an hour later, a 19-year-old man was shot in the upper body at Martin Luther King Junior Park.

About half an hour after that, a 25-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were hit by gunfire near Widman and Rauber streets.

At roughly the same time, a 22-year-old man walked into Rochester General with an upper body wound, and a 23-year-old man was wounded in the leg.

One was apparently shot near Sterling and Sylvan streets, while the other happened on Webster Avenue near Bay Street.

All 7 victims are expected to survive.

There are no arrests.
