Irondequoit police have arrested a juvenile car theft suspect following a chase that ended in the City of Rochester.
The car was stolen this morning in the North Winton Road area.
Police Chief Scott Peters was part of the pursuit.
He says the suspect headed down a dead end street, jumped out of the stolen car and was caught when he tried to make a run for it.
At one point, the suspect backed into the passenger side of a police car, but the damage was minor.
Peters says Greece police told him this morning about thefts from a Kia dealership there.
