Irondequoit police are withholding, for now, the name of the bicyclist who was killed last night on East Ridge Road at Carter Street.
Police say a driver appears to have had the right of way when the man on the bike crossed the driver's path.
The driver called 911 and stayed at the scene.
The man on the bike died at the scene.
