Seneca Nation is Willing to Work With the State on a New Gaming Compact

The Seneca Nation of Indians says it is willing to make significant concessions to get an agreement with the state on a new gaming compact.

The Seneca Nation says they are disappointed the state Assembly adjourned this week without authorizing the new deal but their goal is still to get it over the finish line.

Rochester's Assembly Democrats say in a statement that their understanding is that the current negotiations would potentially remove a Rochester area/Monroe County casino from the agreement.

The current agreement expires in December.
