State Reaches Tentative Labor Deals With Two Of Its Largest Unions

The state has reached tentative labor deals with two of its largest unions.

The Governor's office has announced agreements with the New York State Public Employees Federation and the United University Professions.

The PEF contract runs for 3 years, while the UUP deal is for 4 years.

Together, the two unions represent over 88,000 workers.

Both unions will still have to ratify the contracts.
