Gates police are looking for the teenagers responsible for at least two chaotic crimes on Monday.
Police Chief Rob Long says a woman whose Hyundai was stolen from Wayne County tracked it to Gates and went there to recover it herself.
That's when the teens who stole it threatened her with a gun.
Long says the teens took off in another stolen car.
Officers lost the car in traffic, then learned two of the teens had been dropped off and stole a third car, hitting an 84-year-old woman in a crosswalk, with her daughter and a small child.
The woman suffered a broken foot.
