Air Quality Advisory Remains in Place for the Rochester Area

Our area remains under an air quality advisory through tonight.

Exposure to the smoke from the fires in Canada can cause irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat; coughing; sneezing; and shortness of breath.

Exposure can also worsen conditions such as asthma and heart disease.

People with heart or breathing problems, and children and the elderly may be particularly sensitive.
