University of Rochester Urges it's Internet Users To Protect Online Info

The University of Rochester is urging students, faculty and staff and their families to take steps to protect their personal information online.

That follows word of a cyber security attack affecting the university and roughly 2,500 other organizations worldwide.

The university blames a software vulnerability in software from a file transfer company.

Students and staff are advised to change passwords, use two-factor authorizations, and monitor bank accounts.

The FBI is assisting the investigation.
