Rochester Man Gets 19 Years for Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

A Rochester man will serve 19 years in prison for stabbing the mother of his child last November.

43-year-old Timothy Williams pleaded guilty in April to 1st-degree assault.

Prosecutors say he waited outside his ex-girlfriend's Thorn Street home, then slashed her in the face and head.

The victim was seriously wounded, but survived.

Williams previously served 22 years in prison on a murder conviction.
