Chili Teen Accused of Phoning Bomb Threats to 2 Schools

A 13-year-old Chili boy has been charged with two counts of making a terroristic threat after a pair of threatening calls were made yesterday to West Side schools.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office did not release the juvenile's name, but says he made two bomb threat calls: one to the Chestnut Ridge Elementary School in Chili, and the other to the Westside Academy in Gates.

Both law enforcement agencies and the Churchville-Chili School District worked together to figure out the source of the calls.

The teen was turned over to a guardian, and the case will be handled in Family Court.
