UPDATE: Rochester's Memorial Day Homicide Victims Identified

UPDATE: Rochester police have identified the city's latest homicide victims.

The separate shootings happened early yesterday morning.

Around 2 a.m., 41-year-old Kimanhi Hinds was shot and killed during a fight in a downtown bar.

18-year-old Shanye Mootry of Greece was killed in a gunfight around 3 a.m. on Holland Street.

Rochester police have made no arrests in either of the two homicides early Monday morning.

Around 2 a.m., a 42-year-old man was shot and killed during a fight in a downtown bar.

It happened at the Flour City Station Bar at East Avenue and Broadway. A security guard was wounded.

Meantime, a woman, or girl, in her late teens was killed in a gunfight around 3 a.m. on Holland Street, near Hudson Avenue.

The shooting happened during a gathering in the parking lot of the Anthony Jordan Health Center. The victim was in a car when she was caught in the crossfire.
