UPDATE: Rochester police have charged one of the five young people detained after gunfire was heard in a neighborhood off West Ridge Road early Sunday morning.
18-year-old Ja’Vyon Ogden faces two weapons charges, and is awaiting sentencing on a January burglary conviction.
Police detained Ogden, another 18-year-old, two teenage boys, and a teenage girl at a home on Mayflower Street.
A search turned up several weapons in the home.

Rochester police are deciding on charges for the five young people who were detained after gunfire was heard in a neighborhood off West Ridge Road.
It happened around 3 a.m. yesterday on Mayflower Street.
Police learned a possible suspect was inside a home, and they detained two 18-year-old men, two teenage boys, and a teenage girl.
A search turned up several weapons in the home.
