The Rochester City Council will consider Mayor Malik Evans' request to spend more than 425-thousand dollars on rehabilitation of Genesee Gateway Park and the Genesee Riverway Trail in southwest Rochester.
The work is an addition to the Erie Harbor Enhancement Project and is being funded through the state, which is paying for more than half of the project.
It will include new parking and improved boat launch ramps on the river.
