A Monroe County grand jury has handed up an indictment against a Rochester parolee in a December shooting on the city's north side.
30-year-old Shai-Brittan Anderson faces attempted murder, assault, and weapons charges.
Police say he shot a man in his 30s on Hudson Avenue.
The victim needed emergency surgery, but survived.
Anderson was arrested in Februrary.
He was on parole for a 2016 weapons conviction at the time.
