A Rochester man has been arrested on charges he was firing a gun around the time a woman was shot and wounded last month on Lyell Avenue.
City police say 30-year-old Brian Norford is charged with illegal possession and prohibited use of a gun.
He had a prior gun conviction in 2016.
Investigators are still looking for additional potential suspects.
