The Florida couple who allegedly tried to set their baby on fire in Seneca County - have been sentenced after accepting plea deals.
Jamie Avery Jr. and Lisbeth Collado will serve 9 years in prison plus 5 years probation.
Both pleaded guilty to attempted assault, though Avery later tried to withdraw his plea.
Prosecutors say the couple doused their 1-year-old girl in lighter fluid and tried to ignite her in May of last year at Love's truck Stop in Tyre, while their 3-year-old was found in a nearby trailer with a head injury.
Orders of protection have been issued for both children.
