A fan favorite at Red Wings games ,Milo the Bat Dog, has passed away.
The golden retriever started retrieving bats during games in 2019.
Money was raised for area nonprofits from each bat he retrieved and from the sale of Milo merchandise.
He was seven years old.
The Red Wings will be working with Milo's owner, Josh Snyder, to plan a memorial event this summer.
