Rochester police say there was a shootout between people in two cars, while one of the cars had a 2-year-old child inside.
Police began chasing the cars near Primrose Street and Flower City Park.
One car was stopped at Dewey Avenue and Stone Road in Greece, with one person arrested.
The second vehicle dropped a woman off at Rochester General Hospital, then the driver sped away.
The car was later found on Jackson Street with the driver and the 2-year-old inside.
The woman has non-life threatening injuries.
