Fentanyl Overdose Causes Car Crash on East Main Street in Rochester

Rochester police say a driver apparently overdosed on fentanyl when he rear-ended another vehicle, then crashed into a pole.

It happened around dinnertime last night on East Main Street, near Alexander.

Police say the man was unconscious but was taken to Strong hospital and is expected to recover.

The other driver wasn't hurt.

Police say charges are expected.
