Rochester Mayor Malik Evans says the city is working with the county and the state like never before to create hope and opportunities for its citizens.
In his first State of the City address, Evans said partnerships with law enforcement are bringing down crime and violence.
But he says young people need help to overcome a crisis of character and confidence.
Meantime, Evans says American Rescue Plan money is boosting the city's anti-poverty programs. And he says an equitable and prosperous Rochester is coming into view.
