Rochester police are investigating another scare at Franklin High School.
It happened around dismissal time yesterday.
What was believed to be a Kia SUV drove recklessly at high speed on the sidewalk and lawn near the building.
Students had to run away to avoid being hit. A report that shots were fired was unfounded.
Officers tried to stop the driver, but had to break off the chase in accordance with police policy.
In January, a gunman fired shots at a student during a foot chase outside Franklin.
