SUNY Schools to End COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Staff and Students

The COVID-19 vaccine at State University of New York schools is going away.

Chancellor John King announced students will no longer need to have the vaccine to attend classes, beginning with summer courses.

The move comes as the national COVID emergency is winding down.

King says they strongly recommend students and staff stay up-to-date with the vaccine.
