A Wyoming County man has pleaded guilty in a fatal home invasion.
Authorities say 51-year-old Eric Cushman broke into a Silver Springs home on September 10th and beat a victim in the head and neck.
That victim died after spending more than a month in the hospital.
Cushman was on parole on an assault conviction at the time.
He was originally charged with 2nd-degree attempted murder, but took a plea deal for felony assault.
He'll be sentenced next month, and could get a life sentence as a persistent felony offender.
