A 31-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly holding a woman captive for three days at an address in Canandaigua.
Police say the victim was a woman over the age of 65, and she needed treatment at a hospital for minor injuries.
Michael Phillips was arrested last Thursday on kidnapping and assault charges.
He was also charged with obstructing police for refusing to give officers his fingerprints and mugshot.
He is jailed without bail.
