No bombs have been found in Hilton schools, after an emailed bomb threat this morning.
Monroe County Sheriff's Captain Pat Rojas says some local media outlets got an email at 8:30 a.m. saying there was a threat to the school district.
The district also got the threat that bombs had been placed in the schools, the district office, and the superintendent's home.
Rojas says they're now trying to find out who sent the threat.
Superintendent Casey Kosiorek says the threat centered around a book in the school, and he believes the threat qualifies as a hate crime.
Kosiorek also says there will be a full day of school tomorrow, with extra law enforcement at all the school campuses.
