A Rochester man will serve 30 years to life in prison for a homicide last April on city's southwest side.
33-year-old Rakeem Lane was convicted last month of second-degree murder and two weapons charges.
Prosecutors say he gunned down Javon Sampson, across the street from Lane's clothing store on Chili Avenue.
Sampson had done prison time for a gun crime connected to a deadly shooting in 2014 on Lyell Avenue.
