A new airline is coming to the Rochester airport in June.
Low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines will be offering non-stop service on Mondays and Fridays between Rochester and Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says the flights will be attractive to tourists and business travelers.
The news comes on the heels of the news this week that Frontier Airlines will be suspending service out of Rochester in May.
