Officials: Otis St. Warehouse Had Code Violations Prior to Fire

Rochester city officials say they're working to get shelter for residents near last night's big warehouse fire.

They also say they're looking to get other services to people from the 16 homes near the Otis Street blaze.

Meantime, they say the vacant warehouse had 15 code violations, including for a partially-collapsed roof and fencing.

But city officials say none of those violations caused the fire.

The building has now been torn down, and the city's Arson Task Force is investigating.

One firefighter is recovering from a minor injury.
