Rochester police have arrested a man already on probation for a shooting last month in the Edgerton neighborhood.
Police say 45-year-old Lamont Valion is charged with attempted murder and gun crimes for the shooting February 17 on Locust Street.
A man in his 40s was seriously wounded.
Valion was on probation from a rape conviction and was arrested when he showed up yesterday for a probation appointment.
