The Army veteran accused of attacking politician Lee Zeldin at a Perinton campaign rally will be able to continue his alcohol and PTSD treatment at the Richards House in Rochester.
David Jakubonis had been undergoing treatment at a VA Medical Center since his release from jail last October.
The Richards House is affiliated with the Veterans Outreach Center.
Jakubonis is charged with assaulting a member of Congress.
During the rally last summer, he lunged at Zeldin with a keychain that had two sharp points on it.
His attorney says he was reaching for the microphone in order to stop Zeldin from speaking.
