Spencerport Man Sentenced in Pennsylvania Antisemitic Incident

A Spencerport man has been sentenced for putting antisemitic stickers on a Jewish center at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports Frank Petronio was fined $500, given a year probation, and ordered to complete cultural sensitivity training.

He is the father of a Dickinson student, and she turned him in when images of the crime were circulated by police.

The stickers showed a yellow smiley face with a Hitler-style mustache and haircut.

Petronia apologized in court, and said the publicity had cost him job opportunities as a photographer and graphic designer.
