Rochester Man Sentenced for Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend, Teen

A Rochester man will serve 9 years in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her 17-year-old son.

Prosecutors say 41-year-old Marvin Rojas-Maldonado slashed the victims on Avenue D in August 2021, just days after he was arrested for threatening his ex-girlfriend.

The 17-year-old son nearly died in the attack.

Rojas-Maldonado was convicted of attempted murder, assault, and other charges.
